Exeter-Lucan Classic Edges
Synchronized skating, or “synchro” is a specialized discipline of figure skating involving teams of eight to 20 skaters. Synchronized skating combines athleticism and artistry while using elements and choreography to tell a story. Skaters move together as a single unit while executing different elements like circles, blocks, lines, wheels, intersections and footwork to music. They do this while demonstrating quality edges, power and flow.
We are excited to increase our synchronized skating program from one to three teams including 17 new skaters from three different clubs for the 2024/2025 season!
Our Star 3 team will begin to learn the art of synchronized skating and will perform their routine at several galas and showcases.
Our Star 4 Under 12 team is excited to return to the ice for its second season and skaters are looking forward to expanding on what they learned last year. They will be competing in 2 competitions plus galas and showcases.
Our Star 4 Over 12 team is excited to have the opportunity to work together to learn the synchronized skating discipline. They will be competing in two competitions plus galas and showcases.
